Our House
Gamma Alpha Chapter was established in 1915 at Kansas State University.
Today’s active members are striving to achieve the same ideals that the women did almost 150 years ago. Kappa Kappa Gamma at its core is friendship, leadership, and scholarship; it is an opportunity to help yourself grow as well as be able to watch those around you grow. Kappa Kappa Gamma is more than just a group of women - it is a home away from home for the members.
Gamma Alpha is very proud of the activity of members on campus and in the community; we have continually logged high community service hours as well as having the highest participation in external Greek affairs.
We moved into our current house at 517 Fairchild Terrace in 1930. Since then we have had three big renovations. The house holds 77 active members.
During the time our women live in the house, they create some of their favorite memories. Popular activities that our in-house members enjoy include movie nights, late night chats in our all-access kitchen, crafting parties, exploring our costume closet, dance parties, and being able to live with 77 of our sisters and closest friends.
